wardrobe malfunctions

The 2009 baseball season is in its infancy, but the blooper reel is already looking mature.
Remember when Janet Jackson mistook the Super Bowl for a bachelor party? The Washington Nationals, however, mistook their team name for this...

Then on Wednesday, the Texas Rangers were so interested in getting newly acquired reliever Darren O'Day into the game they forgot to order him a jersey. So he pitched like this...

Unfortunately, for both teams the comedy of errors did not end with the wardrobe. The Washington Nationals are 3-11 to start the season, worst in the majors. And O'Day did not fair much better in his Rangers debut, completing an 8-7 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto's Kevin Millar found the humor in O'Day borrowing Kason Gabbard's #30, "Gabbard I thought was a left-handed pitcher and he came in throwing sinkerballs, side-armed right-handed, so I was a little confused at first." Both O'Day and Millar can laugh, because at least their not Natinals!
